I just saw that too. Currently deciding whether to renew my membership or not, and sods law will dictate that if I dont bother and let it lapse it will be a lovely new Shadows set!

Red Jackal wouldn't surprise me - he'd be a relatively easy repaint of an existing Destro, and would be popular with the US guys too as a "Destro Variant". Ideally a team with (simple variation of for them to make) and a team of 's would be nice!!!

"History loop" suggests to me that a change made in the past will be (temporarily, hypothetically) reversed for this figure.

That could make the Red Jackal a contender like you've said, but I can't see where a loop would fit into the return of the Red Shadows or Red Laser for example. More of a return than a loop in the latter cases.

Yet, I don't know how much to read into the 'nothing blue' aspect. That could just be the need to end the rhyme with blue, using "something" or "nothing" whichever was most appropriate. Then again, if it's a reversal of a character who became blue...

That's what I was thinking Monkfish - I cant see the relevance of the "blue" unless it's either who obviously became blue as , or who was originally blue as and got repainted for us guys over here. Either way is good in my books!

Yes, I'd forgotten that the Red Laser figure is a CC repaint. I'd being thinking about the characters rather than the molds used. That aspect opens it up a lot wider (oo-er)...

They do seem to only do Cobra Commander hooded these days before the 25th Anniversary ones came out so that wouldn't work out as Red Laser. I really can't see Red Shadows being used this year.

i'd expect it to be either more 'SAF' guys or more Argentinian/Brazilian ones...

ETA: maybe 'not blue' is after all, he's a repaint AND old AND foreign...
