Oven cleaner is usually only good for hand applied paint - stuff painted with humbrol enamel or some acrylics etc. If this is the case I usually put the figure in a zip lock baggy and use Mr Muscle spray oven cleaner in the tall aerosol. Nearly done with the attic room re arrange after moving a radiator to make a little more space! Working on the rest of the walls now but its taking an a-g-e....
