Re: this year's con exclusive figures - clue

Might be posted elsewhere but it's an o ring Red Shadows set with Flint.

Could be that it's our red shadows and Flint is the uk David variety, or...

Could be ddp and Flint is the Joe version.

Re: GI Joe Rise of Cobra - issue 6 (Series cancelled :()

Theres a cartoon coming out - so it's possible there could be a tie in depending what that is, or a sequel comic down the line.

Of course it was ridiculous, even before hindsight was needed, that not having cobra major players in at the outset was a bad idea

AF Base

Hi Guys

Can someone tell me exactly how tall the cardboard wall is in the HQ base - the one with the lockers, pipes and two vault doors (pic 01 in the zipped folder). The text file suggests it's 16.6cm tall, but it's more likely to be about 27 cm according to my estimate.

GIJoe RoC issue 5

This was in fp Newcastle today, earlier than planned. It's the best issue so far with great art and there's the suggestion of more serious violence (albeit in the background/ suggested) to cater for kids as well as older fans. The story arc was planned in issue 1 so we knew it was Colombia. Looks li...

Re: Snake Eyes

"Resolute version of the original Snake-Eyes"? I don't get it. If we see all Joe versions as separate, he would be just "Resolute  ", but if we see them all as versions of the same thing (my POV), he would be "the Resolute version of  ", not being an "original" because he woul...

Snake Eyes

Just got two Snake Eyes from RoC Firstly 'City Strike Snake Eyes' which is the Resolute version of the original Snake Eyes, but better still is 'Rescue Mission Snake Eyes' which has the City Strike body in black, but the Paris Pursuit head so is the equivalent of the V2 figures. I'll post pics. What...

Re: GI Joe Rise of Cobra - issue 4

A good conclusion to the story. But let's hope all the stories aren't set in eastern Europe in the dark

Re: GI JOE - Rise of Cobra #3

Hmmm...

Not bad at all. Hawk could almost pass for an older Flint as the look is similar. Art is very good this issue - recognisably Hopgood's work and that provides a lovely symmetry!!!
