Brilliant little stand-out story from the weaker (in my opinion) era of the comic. Great characters, cool idea and so concise! If IDW told exactly the same tale it would take them three issues.
Nice colours too!

Re: THE COMPLETE WORKS BLACK AND WHITE VERSIONS
I'll say yes (and PM sent).
The coloured versions are going to take YEARS to complete, and even then there's no guarentee we'll make it to the end (I hope we do, but...). The black and white versions would allow me to have a complete, non-digital BAF archive at my fingertips right now, as buying the ...

Sometimes they do it on purpose, just so a search is more likely to find their auction.

Re: £1.99 Indiana Jones figures at Poundstretchers
I bought a Russian officer & soldier to accompany my 25th Oktober Guard RED STAR figure, but I was disappointed with the range as a whole. The wobbly rubber used on the guns, as well as the poor hip articulation (compared to the Joes) really put me off.

Re: Red cobra Trooper
I've bought a ton of stuff from that seller! Free postage to the UK (for two or more figures) and always sent quickly. It's a great option for people like me who don't want MOC stuff - I just bought a 25th TUNNEL RAT without having to pick up the godawful STORM SHADOW that came with him in the comic ...

Re: ACTION FORCE: RED DAWN Coming Soons & works in progress
I think that only samples should be put online - Make more people buy the book!!! RED DAWN certainly deserves a bigger audience, especially if the artwork is reaching the standard of these samples.
I'd also like to add that, as someone who appreciates just how much work goes into a project like ...

Re: Ladybird AF books
I've a few of those. I think I'm only missing the one with Wild Bill in (can't remember the name of it). I also have the Transformers books (which I prefer over the AF ones, to be honest) along with the original audio cassettes.
Good grief, I used to have hundreds of those Ladybirds books, of all ...

Scarlett Johannsen... with red hair... and a Russian accent... shooting big guns...
Oh god, I can't feel my knees. One can only hope for the skin-tight black costume too

Re: Vortex
No no I also remember that show, and really good fun it was too! Unlike most modern quiz & challenge shows, you actually had to think about the puzzles (stacking scales to get the right weight to open a door sticks in my mind for some reason) and it was presented in a fun and engaging style.

Re: MARVEL MOVIE NEWS for those who care:
wow, was that really 1991?! im gettin old!
Brought me back to earth with a bump too - I went to see THE ROCKETEER at the cinema and loved that film (Jennifer Conelly looked so damn fine too!). It really deserves more recognition.
Didn't like any SPIDER-MAN films, so don't care about #4
