I preferred the first BATTLEFRONT. I thought the vehicle sections in the second one were really bad and the radar seemed useless (or maybe I was...)Ironblood wrote:SW Battlefront 2 was good but got insane the first game is good as well.

Re: anyone else play First-Person Shooters?
Yep, my favourite gaming genre.
I started with WOLFENSTEIN 3D back when it was originally released (on a 3" disc), graduated to DOOM and it's many spin-offs and am currently loving KILLZONE 2 (Really liked the first KILLZONE on PS2 actually, yet almost everyone else seemed to hate that one).

PERTWEE without a doubt or hesitation. THE. BEST. HANDS. DOWN.
INFERNO is my favourite story of his era and is a bleedin' masterpiece.
Don't like the new show or Tennant's 'bulging eye' acting at all. The fact that we'll never have another 'older' Doctor (because it would 'alienate the young ...

Re: ROC Stuff Sited
Can't get out to any 'real' shops much, so I'm getting my stuff from PLAY.COM and TOYS'R'US online at the moment. I'm army-building the buggery out of those NEO VIPERS - I've really taken to them.
It's really sad that I can't pop down to my local Woolies to pick a few up though...

Re: HM Armed forces figures (again)
Well, if the line succeeds then it may branch out into a smaller scale in the same way ACTION MAN begat ACTION FORCE. Character Options already produce some amazing 6" DR WHO figures (I only collect the 'Classics'), so they have experience in that area.
Don't forget that, at the end of the day ...

HM Armed forces figures (again)
As the thread in the 'toy' section went off the rails (in an amusing way) as usual, I wanted to bring these to attention again.

I've bought a few and REALLY want this line to succeed. After all, this is how ACTION FORCE was born wasn't it ...

Re: Rise of Cobra trailer
Well I'm impressed, but then I've been 'pro-movie' (or more accurately, not automatically "anti-movie because it's different") from the start. My one worry was that the CGI work in previous Sommers' films has been utter crap, but the trailer shots looked rather slick.
