Re: Palitoy revival; ReAction Figures!

Would be very cool but Hasbro will never let the rights go. But maybe they could work out a licensing deal whereby both companies make a profit..., and we get the figures that we want (and might otherwise never see again) in the toyshops, and all three parties win! If anyone's got any contacts, it ...

Palitoy revival; ReAction Figures!

I'm not sure if this is the correct forum for this, but Palitoy not only made the original :originalaf: Action Force figures, they also made the original Star Wars ones, too. A new series of toys, designed specifically to emulate the design style of those Star Wars figures has been produced. What's ...

Badass! You can really see where the inspiration came from for 2000AD's 1970s Dan Dare. Clint's hair ROCKS!

Re: Clint Eastwood's FIREFOX

Love this film. Agreed there's definitley similarities. I've been on the look out for a while now for a cheap Night Raven to do a Firefox custom after somebody posted that they'd like to the the ROC version redone with the lights round the missiles moved to the rear for the engines. I was also thin...

Re: "Stuff I've Just Noticed" or "It ain't just D**e Who Die

If they weren't armed or fired they would drop without guidance, so they'd probably burn up on reentry. :-) Yet another plot-hole! Well spotted, Chops! :chopper: The amount of time paradoxes that went on in Trek before Kirks time would mean that a lot of things wouldn't occur, characters wouldn't b...

Re: "Stuff I've Just Noticed" or "It ain't just D**e Who Die

I'd guess they would need to be armed, Spacey. They would be inert. Aye, arming them would make sense. If I remember correctly though, I think they were described as simply being flattened tubes (???) of platinum each filled with a tungsten rod. Sounds iffy to me! I love your commitment to analysin...
