Re: Character Bio Poster

Welcome on board sadakos_fury! Although I registered here back in October last year, I didn't start posting til this week. I got directed here by jamarmiller, as I used to post on Joe Sightings (I think jamarmiller must post on every Joe site!). A lot of the GI Joe stuff is pretty good, but I agree ...

Re: Character Bio Poster

LOL okay but I keep wondering how big that poster is, coz I work with maps all the time I have access to a plotter printer that prints up to A0, I'm really tempted to come into work early one morning and print off a huge copy and take it home, really shouldn't but I'm sorely tempted

Re: New York Toy Fair 2008: GI Joe

Yeah I always thopught the red Cobra Commander was a bit of a nod and a wink towards Red Laser, and the Baroness in red always lends itself to her either joining forces with the Red Shadows or the Baron captured her and brainwashed her to his side. When I first saw the Crimson Guard on the back of a...

Re: Character Bio Poster

I'd love to help out, sadly the only computer I have access to is at work (hence why all my posts are between 7:30 and 16:00 GMT). While I sneek in the odd few moments on t'interweb when things are quiet or on my lunch/break, I think I'd struggle to get away with a little side project. This also exd...

Re: New York Toy Fair 2008: GI Joe

I've been collecting the 25th anniversary Joes, and I'm hyped not just for the wetsuit Baroness (dream come true though it is) but with the Lady Jaye finally in her cartoon hat-less spear wielding form at long last. jamarmiller, you're a font of all GI Joe info, were the Crimson Guard inspired by so...

Re: Character Bio Poster

It was a gripping story, remember it built up towards Christmas, I kept worrying if SAS would get out of trouble and warn the world that the Red Shadows had taken over. Then when the paratroops arrive, priceless. I got caught reading the finale to Claymore in Chemistry class as I was so hyped for th...

Re: Character Bio Poster

Wow I remember that poster! I too had it on my wall as a kid *sigh* I had a thing for Quarrel as a kid too, I always imagined Glynis Barber of "Dempsey & Makepeace" playing Quarrel, she was something back then (not bad now too considering). Baron and jamarmiller, on the subject of colouring the old ...

Re: The Best of ACTION FORCE Volume 1 : International Heroes

Just to add my two pen'th Jamar, that ought to dedicate a stamp in your honour! Marvellous piece of work, just amazing, words can hardly do justice. Praise and blessings to you and all involved. I know recently a publisher over here in the UK has been reprinting old Commando comics and I think they ...
