Re: Pimp my SAS Panther

I've had success with Zippo lighter fluid in the past. Just seems to melt the glue right off. That's exactly how I do it too. Takes the sticker gunk off, doesn't harm the plastic, and evaporates right off nice and quickly. Squad Leader's stickers are excellent quality; I restored my SAS Wolverine u...

Re: JOE DECLASSIFIED NEWSLETTER RE: THE RED SHADOWS

No doubt many fans would be happy we didn't
Yup. I didn't like the DDP take on the Red Shadows at all.

Re: For the ones that dont believe and for the ones that DO

I'm somewhat glad that 155.5 doesn't follow the DDP comics; they started well but by the end of the run it was almost painful to read in places. And to be honest, I loathed their take on the Red Shadows. I won't miss that in the slightest.

SAS Para Attack parachute question

I just scored a boxed SAS Para Attack on eBay, and I was wondering if anyone knew any way to get the creases out of the chute? The seller shoved it in the box and it's crumpled as hell.

Re: Hardest to find

Add the SAS Force "Grease gun" to the list. I'm currently looking for 2; one for Sparrowhawk & one for Beaver. Can't find them anywhere.

Re: Who won the boxed AF Hyena?

I was SO tempted by that, but my fiancee was down for the weekend so I was somewhat busy and forgot to bid. Also after shelling out for a loose GI Joe Equalizer, a mint loose Hyena, an SAS Silent Attack, An SAS Boat Patrol, an SAS Hawk, a bunch of figures, a loose complete AF Skystriker and a comple...

Re: Hardest to find

From my experience of trying to rebuild my childhood collection, I've found the antenna for the SAS Silent Attack kayak to be very difficult to get hold of.

All the original figures and "Star Wars" style figures were original, I believe. Original vehicles: Early: AF-3, AF-5, AF-7, AF-9 Q Force - Stingray, Swordfish, Sealion Z Force - Jeep SAS Force - None Space Force - Cosmic Cruiser, Satellite Defence, Triad Fighter Red Shadows - Roboskull, Shadowtrak ...

Nice when you are under 15. Banners in signatures should be banned as it degenerates the ease of reading a message board. A message board is for messages, not looking at the same image over and over again. A lot of message boards have banners, ultra long signatures and other crap banned already. .....

SAS Frogman question

I picked up a MOSC SAS Force Frogman on eBay a week or 2 back. After looking at it, I'm a little puzzled. Every AF figure I've seen can move around a little in the bubble, but this one seems to have a shaped piece of clear plastic behind him, keeping him in place. I definitely didn't have any like t...
