Re: Paul Kinnear

I agree to that Baron. I did look at this story in the archive to see if there was a link between the Gibli and the Red Shadows as I want to make up a unit of them for my Shadow Army but couldn't find any connection between the two. They use Shadowtraks (I've been colouring them in desert camo as o...

Re: Paul Kinnear

Too right I'm still a member, especially considering my other main place for visiting (The 'other site', aka PISS WANK) get's worse by the day. Trouble is, Jamar has me chained to my colouring desk and I barely get the chance to post anymore! So thanks, I do appreciate the praise and it doesn't fall...

Re: The Complete Works - Volume 6

Up to page #78 on DESERT STRIKE now and if I say so myself, it's looking pretty sharp. It's a long haul, but I definately think this story (or any story for that matter!) benefits from having just the one person working on the whole thing.

Re: John Cooper - Another Legendary BAF Artist

I got some original BAF art of his from ebay, last page from the invasion london story and I love it... I got myself a "DEATH IN SOUTH AMERICA" page from Ebay. It's really cool to see the work up close and appreciate just how much work went into those panels! I think his male characters s...

Re: GI Joe cartoons

I've just picked up the new Region 1 DVD from 'Shout'. The quality is marginally better than the first release, the set has more extras and the complete series will eventually get released (Rhino only release the first half of season 2) If your laptop is new then you'll have six (usually) oppotuniti...

Re: Sienna moans about ROC Action Figure

It's odd that Duke, Hawk, Ripcord, Breaker and even Zartan have been reproduced so well in movie figure form, yet the Baroness, Cover Girl (and to a lesser extent Scarlett) look nothing like the actors. Especially a pity in Sienna Miller's case, her being such a pip and all...

Re: ROC Stuff Sited

Can't get out to any 'real' shops much, so I'm getting my stuff from PLAY.COM and TOYS'R'US online at the moment. I'm army-building the buggery out of those NEO VIPERS - I've really taken to them.

It's really sad that I can't pop down to my local Woolies to pick a few up though...

Re: Rise of Cobra trailer

Well I'm impressed, but then I've been 'pro-movie' (or more accurately, not automatically "anti-movie because it's different") from the start. My one worry was that the CGI work in previous Sommers' films has been utter crap, but the trailer shots looked rather slick. As for the Accelerato...

Re: The Raid!

Brilliant little stand-out story from the weaker (in my opinion) era of the comic. Great characters, cool idea and so concise! If IDW told exactly the same tale it would take them three issues.
Nice colours too!

Re: ACTION FORCE: RED DAWN Coming Soons & works in progress

I think that only samples should be put online - Make more people buy the book!!! RED DAWN certainly deserves a bigger audience, especially if the artwork is reaching the standard of these samples. I'd also like to add that, as someone who appreciates just how much work goes into a project like this...
