Re: vectis

This auction had a ton of hidden gems. Those hand painted hunters are gorgeous. Very jealous on those. If vectis new what they had and advertised all these prototypes, they would have made alot more money. The SAS PILOT I got is hand painted. Took it out into natural lighting and I can see the light...

Re: vectis

So, do you guys feel the SAS Pilot is a standard production figure that might have been used in a catalog or do you guys think it might be a prototype? I would really like to get everyones opinion on these figures. Are the ones I picked out as possibly different just variations or are they prototype...

Re: vectis

The blue notes are mine. I wrote down the name and year of each figure, so I would know what I have.

Was there anything special about the commander figure?

Re: vectis

I got three different SAS Pilots. The green helmet and yellow helmet versions. There is also a brighter yellow with a bold SAS logo on the arms. It looks hand painted to me. http://i395.photobucket.com/albums/pp38/bonapach/vectis%20auction%20action%20force/b1218a5f-e2d9-4beb-8d74-9317fdb211ae_zpswou...

Re: vectis

Ok, here is the Deep Six. It is hand painted and has a lot of great details. I love this one and really wish Palitoy had mass produced it. http://i395.photobucket.com/albums/pp38/bonapach/vectis%20auction%20action%20force/20160827_132951_zpsfgojdhpw.jpg http://i395.photobucket.com/albums/pp38/bonapa...

Re: vectis

Hello All, I am the one that bought the lot at the beginning of the thread and it did go to America. I bought it for the bubbled test shots. I have been trying to complete the set of 16 and this put me up to 10 now. I was looking at the archives to see what else i got and there were a few that stump...

Re: straight arm joes.

I love those little bastards. My first joes were straight arms. So, getting all 16 was my first major goal as a collector. To me they are very important, because they were the first joes released in the 3 3/4 size. If they had not benn successful, then we would not have gotten any of the swivel arm ...

Re: Born in the USA!!! Erm, well Hull anyway!

Well, Lady jaye was born a man, but because of the ban on gays in the military and the "don't ask don't tell" rule they could not put that in the filecard. Other than that, I think GI JOe was straight up honest with us.

Re: Born in the USA!!! Erm, well Hull anyway!

Big Ben's British, Skymate's an Aussie, Taurus is Turkish, Backstop's a Canadian, but qualifies as a naturalised American, Big Bear and Red Star are Russian. NOPE! That was all pure propaganda. GI Joe just felt sorry for all those other countrys and they wanted the rest of the world to feel like th...
